DepEd holds teachers’ choir contest; ACNTS grabs back to back title

To prove that teachers ignite the talents of students, a division choral singing was held during the kick-off ceremony of Education Week at the Gabaldon Building, Pulung bulu last December 4.
Among the three competing schools composed of not more than 30 members each who showcased their singing prowess in their Christmas inspired choice piece

and contest piece “Imanuel”, Angeles City National Trade School (ACNTS) trained by Mr. Ernesto Tulabut, was hailed as the champion of both categories and received a total of nine thousand pesos cash prize and transportation allowance.
On the other hand, Angeles City National High School (ACNHS) placed second while Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial High School ranked second and received five thousand and four thousand respectively.
The prizes were sponsored by Mayor Ed Pamintuan, Vice Mayor Bryan Nepomuceno and Councilors Jerico Aguas and Edu Pamintuan who are known to be active supporters of the division.
The winning team will be expected to serenade the audience next year to defend their title.
